From this, I can see he has getting some improvement on the coloring work. Is it meant his little hand muscle is getting growing better?

Sport Day 2013 | 运动节之2013

Sport Day, it’s a very common event which organized in school and kindergarten. When we sourcing any school or kindergarten before we make decision to enroll our kid, have you ever concern whether there is Sport Day during the fiscal year?

Honestly speaking, I did. When I see there is Sport Day in the program list. I will add point to the kindergarten.

I always like to have a balance learning environment for my kids. Not very academic driven or curriculum driven. I would like my kids can enjoy during learning process. Organizing Sport Day event is showing the school’s effort for the student to let them enjoy, interact with each others, even moderate physical activity has been shown to improve a child’s skill at arithmetic, reading and memorization.

This is Austin’s 1^st time participating in Sport Day. Well, not only new to him, but also new to the parent as 1^st time attending my kid’s Sport Day too.

I am thinking whether to continue my son with this kindergarten or switch to other. Any idea? ….mummy in Kota Kemuning any opinion?

School work - Coloring #1

Coloring is 1 of the milestone in the development progress. I believe there are a lot of children development milestone out there for parent’s reference.

But for me, I always let it free for my kids. There is not right time to start for my kids to have coloring activity. As long as there are interest, happy, likes ….why not?

School work - Hari Raya Card

This is another art work before Hari Raya. I guess the teacher giving this art work should be because there are also Malay children studying in the kindergarten.

Now days, more and more Malay parent willing to spend a bit more sending their kids to Chinese based kindergarten. As far as I know, Chinese based kindergarten fee are double up than Malay based or Indian based kindergarten.

Last but not least, wishing all Muslim friends and family Selamat Hari Raya!

School Work - Father's Day 2013

Not long ago….he bring this back from school. It’s really surprise us and this is considered his 1^st art work from this school. Even though we know 90% should be the teacher’s effort; but when he holding it and run to the father and said “ superman ar…. Papa superman!” ….really melting papa’s heart!!

Get Ready to School

I have spending 2-3 weeks time to quick survey the kindergarten around my housing area. I will update my survey the other post.

Come back to here, since I am rushing to enroll him to join the second semester for the childcare thus I have very limited choice. Most of them are full, so I strongly recommend you start the survey at least half year advance.

I am not going to tell what should be considered during kindergarten chosen as there are a lot of advises that you can found in mummy’s blog.

Here, I just would like to post some of his handsome shooting trying the sport suit.

Austin 1st time to a trial class

I had sent Austin to attend the trial Montessori class at The JuniorAcademy located in Bangsar Village.
They were only 5 of them in the trial class and obviously my little monster is the “out of control” student. :p

Austin is very greedy and he wanted to play/touch all the education toys around the class room.  He is busy exploring the toys one by one while the teacher asked for sitting down to have sing along. He is counting the number which is sticking on the wall while teaching is asking on story time. During the snack time, he even got o drink other kid’s drinking bottle! “fainted”

Finally, he is able to sit down and finished the art work. Of course, with mummy’s assistance.
